The paralympic swimmer Xavi Torres has reached an agreement for the present season to swim representing to the Royal Nautical Club of Palma. Torres made début with the Nautical in the past Limit 24 hours in which he managed to swim uninterrupted during the whole day and the whole night stops to cross a whole of 58.800 meters.
The agreement contemplates an option of renovation of two more seasons to come to the Paralympic Games of Athens in 2004. There will be a presentation to himself soon in the same Royal Nautical Club.
The Royal Nautical Club is an entity with great sports and social prestige that up to the moment was relying on sections of canoeing and sailing that one will see extended with the section of swimming after the incorporation of the Majorcan paralympic swimmer.
