3/6/2002 – Xavi Torres will swim a international tour training for the World Champs

Xavi Torres, the spanish swimmer with more awards Hill Stara a internacional tour this month; he’ll be in Great Britain, USA and Germany training for the World Championships to be held in Argentina next december..
Torres, who established in March a new world record in 24 hours swimming (58’800 kilometres), was competing in Jyvaskyla (Finland), with Teresa Perales, and Astwertz (Belgium), and he was in the Spanish National Championships.
The Mallorca’s swimmer will compete this weekend in the BT British Open; he’ll swim Friday in the olympic pool “Ponds Forge” 200 free, Saturday he’ll swim 150 medley, 50 fly and 50 breastroke and Sunday he’ll finish his appearance in 100 free and 100 backstroke.

After Sheffield, Torres flight to Washington, where since 13th to 15th june will be held the el US Open, in Federal Way. In “King County Acuatic Center”, the three time paralympic gold medalist Hill compete in 200 free, 50 fly, 150 medley, 200 medley, 50 breastoke and 100 fly.
When the US Open will finnish, Torres go to Berlin and he’ll swim in the Olympic Pool Complex in the German National Championships in the follow events.
