- How arose the one to participate in a passage of ten kilometers to I swim in the open sea?
- It was by initiative of VSF. They offered the possibility to us of collaborating and we accepted, since one was to do what better than we know to do: to swim. We have enjoyed this sea, that has a precious marine bottom.
- He has been very hard to complete the distance of ten kilometers?
- all good has gone. I already had swum, in March, 58 kilometers in swimming pool without stopping, during 24 hours followed. But in the open sea, everything changes.Luckily, the conditions were favorable, was current nor no wind. Only problemillas has arrived in the end, that we have had to avoid some boat and some animal confused (it smiles). Alex – its companion of passage, a partner of ONG VSF – has superwell been. It has much merit.
- Twelve paralympics medals, more than 20 broken world-wide records. What projects at the moment have in mind?
- I want to as much make some passages by open sea by Balearic as by the Canary Islands. In the mid term, I prepare the World-wide one of Argentina, in which I hope to be at least at the level of four years ago. Next year I will confront other competitions and I will plan extraordinary challenges, like the one of the 24 hours of uninterrupted swimming, some original small thing.
- Can need more a little?
- At least, I want to cover the same distance in the open sea that already I did in swimming pool, 58 kilometers and 800 meters.
- To its 28 years, it feels that it has cord for short while?
- I suppose that I will follow until the Games of Athens, within two years. I am at a good moment and I continue enjoying. I have luck to dedicate to me to which I like more.
- How many hour trains every day?
- For the record of the 24 hours it trained to me between seven and eight hours daily. In order to prepare swimming pool competitions I make three or four. Every time it is more difficult to stay. Young people work very many, have as she puts batirte and I already am to the limit. I know that a day they will surpass to me.
- You sees herself like an example for much people?
